Why did you change your wedding plans?

Answer

Neither one of us anticipated how demanding our jobs would be this summer, especially for Ben. Finding time to talk through wedding plans has been challenging and as the wedding date got closer Kalai was starting to feel more stressed and overwhelmed. After taking some time to reevaluate, we realized that what maters most to us is that our wedding day is peaceful and we can keep our focus on each other. So we decided to pivot and have a small, intimate ceremony in Montana. Moving our wedding date up also makes the logistics of us moving to Washington easier.

Where is your wedding reception?

Answer

We will be having two wedding receptions. The first will in Battle Mountain, Nevada on August 31st. The second will be in Lynden, Washington on September 27th. We hope you will be able to join us at one of those celebrations!
