Where are the reception and ceremony taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be held at different locations. Please note that due to space limitations, some guests are invited to the ceremony and reception, while others are invited to join us for the reception only. Your invitation will specify which portion(s) of the day you are invited to, and the RSVP page will reflect this as well.

Are there rooms available for out of town guests for the reception in Muskegon?

Answer

Yes! We have a block of rooms secured at the Shoreline Inn, a couple of minutes from the reception venue and Lake Michigan for either 2 nights or 1. Cut Off Date: September 3rd - reservations MUST be made on or before this date to guarantee a room at the block rate. Any rooms not reserved by 9/3 will be released from the block. Reservations may be added after this date pending availability. Cancellations: Guests should cancel any group room reservations by 4PM local hotel time, at least 2 days prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation penalty. How to Make Reservations: By Phone: Guests should call the hotel at 231.720.4200 and use prompt ‘5’ to speak to the front desk. Guests should be sure to mention that they are reserving a room with the Muskovin | Avink Wedding block, over the weekend of October 3rd. What Should I Wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat.

We’re keeping our celebration intimate, so we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If a plus-one has been reserved for you, it will be clearly stated when you RSVP. Thank you so much for understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

The reception will be outdoors and indoors, bring an umbrella in case it rains!
