As we prepare for our special day, we kindly ask that you RSVP by October 1st. This will allow us to provide our vendors with a final guest count. Unfortunately, we won't be able to accept any RSVPs after this date. If we do not hear from you in time, please know that you will be greatly and regrettably missed on our wedding day.
This event is semi-formal. Cocktail-length dresses, dressy skirts with nice tops, suits with a tie, dress shirts, dress pants, dress shoes. We kindly ask that you do not wear jeans or tennis shoes. We want to see everyone dressed their best! Please note that the bridal party will be wearing dusty blue dresses. And naturally, we ask that the ladies avoid wearing white, ivory or cream!
To ensure a relaxed and elegant atmosphere, we have decided to make our wedding a child-free event, with the exception of the children who are part of our wedding party. We hope you'll take this opportunity to enjoy a night out, and treat our wedding as a delightful date night. Your presence means the world to us, and we are grateful for your understanding and support.
Due to catering arrangements and seating limitations, we are unable to extend plus ones unless explicitly mentioned on your invitation. We hope you understand and look forward to celebrating together.
To ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the beauty and emotion of our ceremony, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking pictures or videos during the ceremony itself. Rest assured, we have hired a professional photographer who will capture every cherished moment. These photos will be shared on social media for all to enjoy and relive the memories. We invite you to put your phones away and immerse yourselves in the experience with us, embracing the ceremony unplugged. However, feel free to capture as many memories as you'd like during the reception, where we would love for you to take pictures and videos to your heart's content.
Parking will be available at the venue. There is no cost for parking. We do encourage carpooling if possible to ensure that there is enough parking for everyone. You are able to pull to the front of the venue to drop off guests, but you may not block or park at the entrance to the building. All vehicles must be off the premises by 10 am the following morning. If vehicles are left parked at the parking lot 24 hours after event end time, the vehicle will be towed at your expense. Please do not park alongside of drive and entrance or in the grass anywhere on the property.
In the event of heavy rain on the day of the wedding, please note that the ceremony will be relocated to The Ridge's reception hall. Know that the bride loves rain, so we will continue our plans of an outdoor ceremony if it is a light rain or sprinkle!
We will be serving parmesan chicken, garlic roasted potatoes, green beans, and a caesar salad. There will be cupcakes served later in the evening for dessert.
We have arranged an open bar featuring a selection of beer, wine, and seltzers for your enjoyment throughout the evening. We kindly ask that no outside alcohol be brought to the venue, as our dedicated bartenders will be working diligently to ensure everyone has a memorable experience. Should you wish to show your appreciation, cash tips for their excellent service will be gratefully accepted.
If you still have questions about our special day, please reach out to the Maid of Honor Julia Spence or Matron of Honor Brittanie Stewart (Shepherd).
