Things To Do

The region where the wedding is located is the same as where Ben and Jeanne live, Les Laurentides! This region is Ben’s hometown and an area unfamiliar to Jeanne until 2020 where she fell in love with it during her first visit to Ben’s family home. Below we have listed some recommendations in the area, some closer to the wedding venue (La Conception) and some right beside where Ben and Jeanne live in Saint-Sauveur. We highly recommend if you have the chance to stop and visit Saint-Sauveur. It’s halfway between Montreal and the wedding location. Legend has it, while Ben has spent 29 years living in Saint-Sauveur, Jeanne may have walked through the village more times than him in just 6 years…
Café White Et Compagnie

Café White Et Compagnie

31 Avenue de la Gare, Saint-Sauveur, QC J0R 1R0, Canada

Ben and Jeanne’s favourite local coffee shop. While Saint-Sauveur has no shortage of coffee this place stands out for its sandwiches and soup as well as flat whites direct from their New Zealand native barista. Note: They are closed on Sundays.

Merci la Vie

Merci la Vie

485 Boulevard des Laurentides, Piedmont, QC J0R 1K0, Canada

It isn’t uncommon to see Jeanne here at least twice a week in the summer. Come here for inventive and delicious pastries that use creative and fun flavour combinations. Pair it with an iced coffee or one of their homemade lemonades; take it to go and walk down the street to the park (Chemin du Pont Park) to enjoy your sweet treats on a park bench or by walking along the Petit Train du Nord (the trail along the park).

Boulangerie Artisanale eBou

Boulangerie Artisanale eBou

129 Rue Principale, Saint-Sauveur, QC J0R 1R6, Canada

Our last coffee shop and bakery recommendation but surely not the least. Sometimes simple is best and here they do amazing and classic French viennoiserie’s. Ben and Jeanne’s order? Can you guess who gets what? 1 X cheese croissant 1 X pain au chocolat 2 X hazelnut latte’s

Casse-croute Arc-en-Ciel

Casse-croute Arc-en-Ciel

756 Boulevard des Laurentides, Piedmont, QC J0R 1K0, Canada

Come here for a classic Quebec «casse-croute» including poutine and much more! Note: They are closed on Sunday's. Go to La Belle Province instead on Sunday!

Burger et Apéro - Le Solstice

Burger et Apéro - Le Solstice

291 Rue Principale, Saint-Sauveur, QC J0R 1R0, Canada

If you’re strolling the village and want a mid-day bite, come here for the perfect smash burger and a generous lemonade (spiked or not).

Miel & So'Ya

Miel & So'Ya

92 Avenue de la Gare, Saint-Sauveur, QC J0R 1R6, Canada

Looking for a nice restaurant in the area? This is Jeanne and Ben’s favourite! It’s Asian-style tapas and plates. Think to reserve in advance. Looking for more date spots? Text us! We have many amazing recommendations.

Mont-Tremblant-Village

Mont-Tremblant-Village

1000 Chemin des Voyageurs, Mont-Tremblant, QC J8E 1K4, Canada

Mont-Tremblant is one of the biggest ski stations in Quebec and only 15 minutes from the wedding venue. We highly recommend a stroll through the village for a quintessential Laurentides experience! Please make sure to use the address listed here which brings you to the ski station village. There is another village (much less interesting) also with the name Mont-Tremblant... it has misled a few of us...

Panoramic Gondola

Panoramic Gondola

150 Chemin au Pied de la Montagne, Mont-Tremblant, QC J8E 1B1, Canada

Looking for an activity while in Mont-Tremblant? Go up the gondola to admire the view and experience some of the best of the Laurentides!

Parc national du Mont-Tremblant

Parc national du Mont-Tremblant

3824 Chemin du Lac Supérieur, Lac-Supérieur, QC J0T 1P0, Canada

If you are wanting to hike here is the spot! There are many different hikes but here are our go to's or top-recommended ones: les sentiers de la Roche, de la Corniche et du Toit-des-Laurentides. There is also a lake to go for a dip after the hike so bring a swimsuit!
