Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Each guest should RSVP no later than one month prior to the wedding, and that date is Wednesday, August 6, 2025. We unfortunately cannot accommodate you if you do not RSVP by that date, regardless of the connection to the bride and groom. We are not in favor of wasting food and drink due to absences. Additionally, because of limited seating, there is a waiting list of individuals who may be asked to attend the ceremony and reception if seats are available. Therefore, RSVPing is crucially important.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire for our wedding is black tie. We STRONGLY ask that you do not wear white to the wedding. The wedding will take place in Nashville on a September Saturday. The wedding will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors (climate-controlled). Please dress for the weather and the occasion. We do have ushers in place to support any individual who is dressed inappropriately.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We do not have a child-free policy in place. However, we ask that your child stay within your line of sight at all times and not interfere with the wedding and reception program. There will be several events that take place on our wedding day, and we would prefer not to have any of them interrupted because your child is far too active for the occasion. We do have ushers in place to support families who do not have firm control of their child or children.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes. Our host hotel of choice is the Springhill Suites by Marriott Nashville Brentwood. We have secured a block of rooms for guests at a discounted rate. The information for hotels is located on the main page of this website. Simply click on "Hotels and Travel" at the top of the page, and information about the host hotel is available along with other recommendations around Nashville. Guests are not required to stay in the host hotel, but for those who will take advantage of the discounted rate, the room must be booked no later than one month prior to the wedding, and that date is August 6, 2025. Any rooms that have not been booked by this time will be added back to the hotel's inventory for their use.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered only on this website. Please go to the main page of this website and click on "Registry" at the top. We have limited the options to the registry, as we are first-time parents with a targeted focus on our registry items.

Question

Will there be other events to attend during the weekend?

Answer

There may be several events that may be happening around Nashville and the surrounding areas. We have not planned any events or activities outside of the wedding ceremony and reception. We recognize that majority of our guest will be coming from out of town, but we have not created a weekend-long experience. Instead, check out some of the local attractions we made suggestions for. Simply click on "Things to Do" on the main page, and a short list of activities for you and your family will appear. These locations are some of Nashville's best, and there is fun for the whole family. Check them out!
