Craftsbury Outdoors Center has a trail network system used primarily in the summer for biking and running. It's a beautiful spot, and connected to Hosmer Point via a trail.
This is a great place to grab a snack or lunch if you are out and about on Saturday!
For those interested in birding, you will be pleased to know that I have been assured by the camp manager that "there are a lot of birds around" at Hosmer Point. There are probably also some birds around in adjacent places.
Stowe is a beautiful ski town with plenty of things to do in the summer as well. There are a number of breweries, restaurants, and stores that sell random nonsense. It's a great place to stay, or just spend an afternoon.
Foliage (leaves) will be starting to turn in Vermont around the time of the wedding. You can stare at the trees when you're here!
Lake Willoughby is a great place for a day trip. There's hiking around there, and places to eat.

This is where the "Sound of Music" Von Trapp family settled after leaving Europe. Great beer, sausages, etc.
