We both took piano lessons from the same teacher throughout middle school and high school. We would see each other at recitals but were never formally introduced. When we both stopped taking lessons to focus on graduating, we had no idea we'd run into each other again a couple years later at church. We became friends and stayed that way for two years before we finally began dating.
After a year and a half of dating, Ben got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. He took us out to breakfast in Agritopia and, after stuffing our faces with delicious breakfast food, we took a walk in the garden. As we walked, I noticed how sweaty and shaky Ben was becoming. However, I contributed it to the 100 degree heat we were surrounded by outside. As we rounded the corner unto a pebble path, we walked up to a big arch of greenery. That's when I saw her -- my sister dashing across the path in plain sight, holding a camera. That is the moment that I became sweaty and shaky. I turned just in time to see him kneel down and I remember nothing else about the moment other than the fact that I said yes.
