Can my children attend the wedding?
Answer
While we love all your children we kindly request for you to make arrangements for child care as we are keeping our wedding very intimate and adults only. This includes our friends with older children as well. Thank you so much for your understanding. If you need recommendations for wedding sitters please reach out to Courtney.

Can we bring pets?
Answer
The resort has a small amount of rooms that allow dogs, please reach out to Hidden Pond for more info and pet policy. We love fur babies but our wedding & wedding events will be humans only so please make sure they are ok being left alone in the room, thank you for your understanding.

Do we have to stay at hidden pond?
Answer
No, we respect if you wish to stay somewhere else, we just request you please let us know if you are planning to stay somewhere else other than hidden pond as they do not allow parking if you are not staying at the resort, so other arrangements will need to be made for transportation to the wedding. Please let us know where you book as soon as possible!

What if I have food allergies?
Answer
Please let us know all food allergies as soon as possible so we can let our caterer know. There is a steak & lobster option for the wedding menu so we need to know ASAP, especially if you have a shellfish allergy!

When should we arrive in Maine?
Answer
We will be there Wednesday September 3rd, before the wedding, you are free to arrive anytime before the wedding on Saturday, but suggest at the very latest by Friday 9/5. Please let us know if you will be attending the Welcome Party on September 4th! We love Maine and encourage you to come early and enjoy time exploring.

Am I allowed to specify how the food is cooked?
Answer
Our venue has one of the best restaurants in the state and we are so excited for you to try the food. For the Meat option selection on the invite please note, it’s a Steak & Lobster tail together. All steaks will be cooked Medium Rare, we apologize but we can’t accommodate everyone’s cooking preferences so if this will be a problem please select the fish option. We appreciate your understanding and know you will love whatever you choose!

Can I bring a plus one/Guest to the wedding?
Answer
We really wanted to keep our wedding intimate in order to spend the most time with our invited guests. For us to do this, we made the hard decision to not have plus ones/additional guests that aren’t listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding on this and really think you will also enjoy getting to know a smaller group. We know you will love all our friends & family in attendance!
