1. Tour of North Vietnam

Jan 2-7 Our family and friends are planning a Northern Vietnam tour this January, just before our wedding, and they'd love for you to join if it fits your schedule! It’s a 6-day, 5-night private trip from January 2–7, 2026, exploring Hà Nội, Ninh Bình, and Hạ Long Bay. We wish we could make it !! The tour begins with a city tour of Hà Nội, the "Soaring Dragon Capital", then head to Ninh Bình to take in the stunning Tràng An landscape and visit the grand Bái Đính Pagoda. They'll also hike to the top of Múa Cave for panoramic views before setting sail on a luxury overnight cruise through the breathtaking scenery of Hạ Long Bay. The trip wraps up with a visit to a spectacular cave, followed by the flight back to Hồ Chí Minh City. If you’re interested in joining, check out the day-by-day itinerary below. 2. Saigon / HCMC

Wedding Reception on Jan 10th ToDo : Independence Palace, Bitexco Financial Tower, Landmark 81, Nguyen Hue Street, Saigon Central Post, Ben Thanh Market, Muesum of Ho Chi Minh, Walking Street/Cafe Apartment, Ao Dai Rental shop, SG River Cruise, Takashimaya Mall, City Pagoda, Book Street, Notre Dame Cathedral, ... aaand Ben's favorite restaurant: Pizza 4P's. He eats there 4x every trip, of course. Make sure to take advantage of the fresh fruits, unique vietnamese-style coffees, and SHOPPING. Saigon is THE place to get a great deal on tailored clothes and leather.

Wedding Celebration on Jan 12th We will arrange a short tour of the city before and after the Celebration. On January 14th, we’ll head to Phan Thiet - a 3-hour drive away - to relax, enjoy the beach, and savor fresh seafood. You’re warmly welcome to join us if you’re interested! In Da Lat, we can hunt clouds and watch stunning sunsets. Take a leisurely stroll or a paddleboat ride at Xuan Huong Lake, and explore the night market for local food and souvenirs. Hike or take a jeep ride up Lang Biang Mountain for panoramic views, or visit nearby waterfalls like Datanla, Prenn, or Elephant Falls. At local farms, we can pick strawberries, wander through flower fields, and interact with animals such as goats, rabbits, and alpacas. Cherry blossoms will be in bloom in January. The weather is expected to be cool and comfortable, ranging from 54–77°F.

4. Phan Thiet Beach Town!

Jan 13-16 Here, we'll relax on the white sand beaches: Phan Thiet's Mui Ne Beach, enjoy swimming, sunbathing, or beach games, and try sports like kiteboarding, windsurfing, or paddleboarding. Seafood is Vietnam's specialty - freshly caught, exotic, and affordable. You have to try it!! We'll also visit the Red and White Sand Dunes for sand sledding, photos, catching a beautiful sunset. January offers Vietnam's beach weather, with warm daytime temperatures of 85°F and comfortable evenings around 70°F.
