The best Italian food around. Garlic bread is delicious! They do also have a location in DUBUQUE @ 180 main st Dubuque IA 52001

National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium

Great family fun with cool exhibits. Great place to go for a nice stroll along the river, Ben and Carissa have frequented this place many times and enjoy the beautiful views of the river, bridges, and boats that travel by. Plenty of parking, well lit and paved for easy walking.

Charlotte's Coffee House

Carissa’s favorite coffee shop from college/grad school. Delicious food and bakery items too, this was Carissa’s and her grad school friends go to place for a study break.

Backpocket Dubuque

Great bar located in the millwork district, basement has all your favorite arcade games you grew up playing.

Barrel House

Great restaurant and bar in downtown Dubuque. Try Ben and Carissa’s favorite drink the “Pink Bikini”

Fenelon Place Elevator Company

512 Fenelon Place, Dubuque, IA 52001

Worlds shortest and steepest railroad elevator. Historical landmark in Dubuque that originally was designed to speed up former mayors commute down the bluff from a 1.5 hr horse ride. At the top of the elevator are some of the best views of downtown Dubuque.

Julien Dubuque Monument

1810 Monument Drive, Dubuque, IA 52003

Great views just south of Dubuque in the Mines of Spain. This is a short paved walk to view the founders monument and see more beautiful views of Dubuque. Hiking trails available from here (our favorite is horseshoe bluff)
