Matron of Honor
Olivia and Ashley met the summer of 2014 during their internship with Youth Villages in Tennessee. Olivia and Ashley immediately hit it off after Olivia thought Ashley looked like one of her friends Rachel. This relation to looking like Rachel resulted in Olivia creating the nickname Chel, which is what Olivia and her family call Ashley to this day. Throughout the years, Ashley has worked endlessly to overcome Olivia's biggest flaw, which is that she is an IU grad. Despite having the rivalry of IU and Purdue, these two have plenty in common. When they do spend time together they enjoy talking about their dogs, being sarcastic, and engaging in shenanigans.
Maid of Honor
Liv and Ashley met during their undergrad at Purdue University through a mutual friend in 2012-2013. These two are complete opposites, but together they create one heck of a dynamic duo. Due to distance, Liv and Ashley enjoy talking on the phone to another one almost weekly, and when they are not talking on the phone, they are sending each other TikToks and memes. Liv and Ashley are each others' biggest cheerleaders!
Bridesmaid
Maggie and Ashley met at Pi Kapps while Maggie was visiting her now husband. Maggie and Ashley's friendship has flourished throughout the years. Maggie and Ashley live 1 mile away from one another. Maggie was present and blindsided when Ben proposed in Monetary, California, and they often find themselves in spontaneous adventures together.
Bridesmaid
Sarah and Ashley met in the summer of 2014 during their internship with Youth Villages in Tennessee. Sarah was the friendly intern who excitedly came up to Ashley at an intern event to introduce herself. Sarah invited Ashley to go line dancing later that evening, and they have been friends ever since. You will always find these two smiling and laughing constantly whenever they are together!
Bridesmaid
Anna and Ashley met through mutual friends and through her now husband who is a fraternity brother of Ben. Anna and Ashley immediately hit it off due to their common profession, love of having a good time, and twerking. You will always find these two tearing up the dance floor and constantly expressing their love for one another.
Bridesman
Hunter and Ashley have known each other since he came out of the womb. Ashley immediately took pride in being a big sister. These two enjoyed practicing cheer stunts with Hunter's build-a-bear and Ashley's American girl doll, playing sports, and making fun of one another and their parents. Even though Hunter is Ashley's younger brother, Hunter always gets mistaken as the older one. As they have gotten older, they continue to share similar interests such as traveling, sports, and hiking. Ashley's current favorite thing to brag about is that Hunter lives in Portland, Oregon.
Best Man
Adam and Ben have been friends since 2009 when they were on the High School volleyball team. Neither of them were really that good but it was fine because the times they had outside of volleyball were never dull. To lighting things on fire, to sneaking around, Indy 500 every year, to shenanigans at Adam's family lakehouse, to turning 21 and living together for one summer (luckily only that long), and now living less than 10 minutes away, they always find a way to have a good time.
Groomsman
Chris and Ben met through pledgeship during their freshmen year at Purdue. Throughout the years, Chris and Ben have had many spontaneous hangouts and adventures, mostly due to Chris' timeliness. When living down the street, they would knock on each other's door to hangout and it felt like childhood shenanigans. Many times Ben wasn't home while he was traveling for work, and Chris and friends would make Ashley go to dinner with them, always looking out for Ashley. One of Chris' best features was his ability to hold Ben and Ashley's coats as Ben surprisingly proposed to Ashley in Monterey, California.
Groomsman
Matt and Ben met on the very first pledge meeting in 2012 when they rushed the same fraternity at Purdue. At the first meet, Ben originally thought Matt was a little quirky, while Matt thought Ben was a stuckup kid from Fishers. While those may or may not be true, what was evident as they got to know each other is they were both silly, both liked Avicii, and both were competitive at every game they played including Diddy Kong Racing and beer pong.
Groomsman
Ben and Cam met at Purdue, but the friendship didn't flourish until each of them lived in Broad Ripple after college. Cam loves to brew beer while Ben loves to hear about it and try them out. Cam loves making home improvements on his houses, while Ben loves to hear about them and try them on his own home as well. While still living close, they enjoy dog play dates for Jax and Daisy and get togethers that include playing games, watching Purdue sports, and enjoying some of the aforementioned beer.
Groomsman
Mike and Ben have known each other since freshmen year while joining the same fraternity at Purdue. They bond over random engineering things, Mike's brother's tailgates at Purdue football games, and golfing. Mike has a fun nickname for Ben, always calling him Dunder, because during a Saturday social event at the fraternity, Ben was wearing a Dunder Mifflin shirt and well, the rest is history.
Groomsman
Ben and Evan have known each other since Ben was born, as Evan is his older, and as Evan would say, wiser brother. They didn't become friends until Ben went to college since before then it would be considered an abusive relationship, as Evan would constantly torment and try his wrestling moves on Ben. But, eventually they got past all that and now enjoy each other's company, we think, with family activities, Purdue sporting events, and bumping in each other's cars.
Groomsman
Ben and Justin have known each other since Ben was born. Justin, the eldest, and clearly the wisest brother, has always inspired Ben to learn more, travel, and get better at golf. They mostly enjoy activities together as a family including golfing, bowling, corn hole, and tennis. As a competitive Hagen, they always have a good time.
