How can I get to Ann Arbor from the airport?

Answer

There is a shuttle bus that runs between the airport and downtown Ann Arbor. See the travel tab for more details.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We had a curtesy block with the Hyatt Place in Ann Arbor, but the hotel only kept it open until August 24. They might still be able to book you at our rate if you call them, but no guarantees. Otherwise, there are a number of hotels to choose from all together in the same area as the Hyatt Place ( see https://www.google.com/maps/@42.24,-83.735,17z )

The Hyatt Place is a bit of a hike away from St. Thomas Church; are there any closer hotels?

Answer

The closest hotel is the Graduate -- being only a few blocks away from the church -- however, they are one of the more expensive hotels in the area. The University Inn (formerly Lamp Post Inn) is a bit closer than the Hyatt and is a decently nice place to stay, but is still a little further than "walking distance".

May I wear a hat at the reception?

Absolutely! We'd love to see all your fun hats. Please note that, in the church itself, it is customary for men to remove their hats.

Can my phone be on during Mass?

Answer

Please turn off your phones during Mass. We have hired a professional photographer, and would like to maintain a reverent atmosphere during the wedding Mass. However, we'd love to see all your beautiful photos of the reception and other festivities!

How long will the Wedding Mass be?

Answer

We anticipate the Mass will be around one and a half hours long.

Where are you going for your honeymoon?

Answer

We are road tripping to the Knoxville, TN area, including Great Smokey Mountains National Park.

Do you have any other particular gift requests besides what is on your registry?

Answer

We would love to hear your favorite music during our honeymoon trip; mixed CDs are excellent! If you have any favorite books, we would very much enjoy reading them. We would particularly like to read books by or about your favorite saints.
