While Benjamin was busy in his workstudy job at Syracuse's Goldstein Student Center, he would serve guest at the salad bar. However, there was a genuine encounter with one student who was interested in knowing how his day was going. As Benjamin made the salad, he would remember this girl by her genuine personality. It was months later, he found out her name to be Annice. One day, Benjamin was walking into Goldstein and noticed Annice watching movies on her computer. He walked up to her and she glanced up. However, she was wondering why this guy is trying to talk to her and she is watching, A Different World on Netflix. He, unknowingly, just waited there smiling until she spoke. Again, they kept on with casual conversation as he was curious to see how she had been since they last met. More months passed, and this time Annice had her grandmother visiting for family weekend. That day, Benjamin happen to be in Goldstein not working and Annice asked him to come meet grandma since Annice's friends were no where to be found on a Saturday morning. So he went to go see her grandma and he talked and laughed a lot with her. Annice was so happy that she could show her grandmother she had friends. And yet again, months would pass until Annice and Benjamin's reconnection. But the next times were quite unusual. On Monday, Annice and Benjamin met on the bus, and on Tuesday the same thing happened. Wednesday comes, and again, they meet. They even met on campus in Newhouse School of Communications. Each encounter casual, and surely enough by Thursday, they had met once more on the bus. They did not yet know what God was doing in their lives. Here it is, Friday 2:00 am in the morning Benjamin is on the bus after leaving Goldstein and guess who gets on... There, Annice comes and Benjamin finally asked himself, "Why am I meeting her so frequently", as she wondered the same. It was on that fifth day of meeting her he just took it as a sign that he needed to ask this woman on a date.
