Nope! Sit anywhere you like for the ceremony. Every person here is incredibly important to us--so you all have that in common! Say hi to your neighbor :) (The front two rows on either side will be reserved for immediate family) For the reception, it's open seating and dinner will be served buffet-style. A few tables will be marked as reserved for immediate family
If you RSVP'd "Yes" to the bus, you have a seat! Unfortunately we can't guarantee a seat for the "Maybes". Check your Ceremony RSVP to see your selection The bus departs from the Hoxton Hotel (on the Lake St. side) @ 4:30pm to take guests to the ceremony at Garfield Park Conservatory After the ceremony, bus will depart at 6:10pm take guests to the reception @ Canal Street Eatery. There will be a second loop, but if you don't want to wait we recommend an Uber/Lyft. There will be no bus transport after the ceremony. While there is a parking garage near the reception (333 S. Clinton $11 and must be validated by the venue), we encourage you to take an uber or public transportation to get back to your lodging safely!
No later than 5:15pm so you have time to make your way to the Show Room and find a seat. Ceremony begins at 5:30pm sharp
We love your little ones, but this time we’re planning an adults-only celebration. Think of it as a mini vacation! Enjoy a kid-free weekend, and let your hair down with us in Chicago. If you have any questions about this please reach out to Anna or Ben
For the ceremony, dress code is "semi-formal" -- think suits and cocktail dresses. It will be late spring in Chicago with average temps in the mid-70s to low-80s. If you're not sure what color to wear, just think spring/summer! Greens, neutrals, oranges, yellows, pinks, light blues are all great! We recommend checking with your hotel or BnB on long-term parking options. Getting around the city and finding parking is tricky, so plan to take advantage of Chicago's fantastic public transport or grab an Uber/Lyft! If you do need to park a vehicle, we recommend downloading the SpotHero app to reserve space ahead of time. You can also download the ParkChicago and ParkChicago Maps app to find and pay for metered street parking There is a free small parking lot with next to the ceremony location @ Garfield Park Conservatory There is a parking garage near Canal St Eatery (reception) at 333 S. Clinton -- $11 and must be validated by the venue
