It's Time! :)

Our story started over a decade ago. Adriana was working part time at a local Dallas Korean Lounge in-between her undergraduate and graduate programs. Randomly, Ben and one of his friends happened to walk in during her shift. Immediately Ben spotted the “cute girl” making drinks behind the bar. To this day both Ben and Adriana do not remember who actually made the first move or “Hello”. It depends on who you ask first. For the sake of this story, Ben must have made a decent impression on Adriana to where she gave him her number before he left. Not even a day or two passed, Ben sent Adriana a text message, but immediately followed up with a phone call. Some may say it’s a “no-no" in dating 101, but Ben felt it was the right thing to do at the time. Luckily, he was right and Adriana answered. They talked for over an hour and it felt like things went as smooth as it could be. Unfortunately, or fortunately, after a month or so passed and they talked nearly every day and even hung out once, but then things came to a pause or what we refer to as the “bye”. A couple of years pass by without any contact, they reconnect again. Their friendship foundation was strong. Until one day, they both decided to move that friendship into another light again, but this time was very different. Ben and Adriana were both more on the same page and their friendship foundation was much stronger than ever, coupled with their faith, and love of travel and film. Now 5 years or so pass, Ben felt a sense of calm and comfort and with an intimate group of friends decided to “pop” the ultimate question inside a large decorative Christmas ornament in Las Colinas. While opening the ring box, the ring fell. It was not something Ben ever planned in his head, but was quite the curveball that reminded him of life and how you have to just “roll with the punches”. Since then, Ben and Adriana have been planning to host an event, “the wedding” to celebrate their family and friends. So please RSVP and come celebrate!
