Ben and Addi met during Union's Scholars of Excellence competition. We had a mutual friend (shout out Cole) who told Addi she should say hey to his friend Ben. Well... Addi said hi, and Ben responded in the most awkward way possible. Addi thought she would never talk to him again. Later, realizing his mistake, Ben got Addi's number. A couple weeks later they went on their first date, and a couple weeks after that, the world shut down. Throughout COVID they got to know each other very well and fell in love. Ben proposed to Addi on 3/29/2024 at one of their favorite spots, The Crown Winery, after almost exactly 4 years of dating. Over the last 2 years they have waited patiently for their grad school plans to align so the wedding planning could begin, and now, the day is right around the corner. They have walked alongside each other through a global pandemic, graduating high school, starting college, graduating college, starting physical therapy school, starting medical school, and now getting married.
