Invitations will be sent out by the end of June. We are asking for all RSPVs to be returned by August 13th.
You do not need to reserve a cabin. Once you RSVP we will be assigning each person/family a sleeping space. There are only a limited number of smaller, individual cabins, so you may be bunking with others in your close circle or have a large, 10 person cabin to yourself. The camp sleeps 500 and we are expecting only 60-75 guests to stay over so there will be plenty of room! If you prefer a smaller cabin, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
We will be asking for $125 per person; this will cover your stay at camp for two nights as well as all meals. If you would like to stay just one night at camp we will be asking $75 per person. For those not staying at camp but would like to attend the events with meals, we will be asking $35 per person. Linens are available to rent through Camp Mataponi for an additional cost. If you wish to bring your own food, drinks, or linens, please feel free to do so. These costs are only associated with lodging or meals outside of the ceremony and reception.
What ever you feel most comfortable in! The ceremony is taking place on the lawn, so please keep that in mind.
We are hoping our wedding will be a chance for you to relax and enjoy yourself so we are asking for children to stay home, if possible. We understand folks may not want to leave their infants behind or can not find extended childcare while traveling to Maine, so please reach out with questions before deciding you cannot attend; we are flexible regarding this as our wish is for you to be there to celebrate no matter what!
Camp Mataponi is a large outdoor facility that usually sleeps 500 campers. There will be ample space to social distance and remain safe throughout your entire stay. All unvaccinated staff will be required to wear masks while in contact with our guests. You will be required to sign a document regarding your potential exposure to, and symptoms of the virus. We ask if you are unvaccinated to please be tested for COVID-19 prior to your arrival.
Even though we would love for you to stay for the entire event, we understand this is not possible for everyone. We would still like you to join us for the main event so please reference the RSVP section, and let us know when you will be joining us.
Please bring weather appropriate clothes; nights and mornings seem to be chilly. Bring a bathing suit and towel if you intend to enjoy Sebago Lake. Alcohol will be provided for major events, however if you enjoy a specific beverage or snack, you are more than welcome to bring your own. I would also suggest packing sunscreen and insect repellant.
We ask that you wear a mask if you have not been vaccinated and you are unable to socially distance. If you are not vaccinated we are asking you to please be tested prior to your arrival at camp. Even if you are vaccinated, we also encourage cautionary testing prior as there will be a few younger guest that are unable to be vaccinated; this is encouraged but not required. We are setting up all events in order to ensure the safety for all our guests.
Yes, all cabins are equipped with a bathroom and electricity.
