What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

We will begin at 5:00 pm please arrive beforehand and find a seat on the lawn!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes please wear formal attire which includes floor length dresses, fancy cocktail dresses, tuxedos, or a suit.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a public parking lot located on Polk Street directly across from The Merrimon Wynne House. See driving directions below: Traveling down Blount Street from Peace Street, you will pass The Merrimon-Wynne House on your left. Take an immediate left on Polk Street and the parking lot will be located on your right between Blount and Person Street. Traveling down Person Street from Downtown Raleigh, you will turn left on Polk Street and the parking lot entrance will be on your left, just past The Burning Coal Theater.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a room block at the AC Marriott in downtown Raleigh. (group code: DDW) The Sheraton Raleigh Hotel, The Longleaf Hotel, or the Guest House are all nearby options as well.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will have salad, chicken, beef, and sides available for a buffet style dinner. If you require a vegetarian option please let us know when you RSVP. If you have any other allergy concerns please reach out to the bride privately by August 19th.
