Flight
Durango Airport offers flights through American Airlines and United Airlines. There are direct flights from Dallas, Denver and Phoenix. This will be your most direct option for travel. If you plan to fly into Durango, I would check on fares well in advance to the wedding because flight prices can fluctuate significantly.
Flight
Albuquerque is going to be the closest major, international airport. It's located 3.5 hours away from Durango by car and offers a variety of flight and airline options. If flying to Albuquerque, you would need to rent a car to get to Durango.
Hotel
This hotel is in the heart of downtown historic Durango, and it is a historic, adorable and comfortable place to stay. For other unique experiences in local hotels, we would recommend checking out: - General Palmer Hotel - Leland House Suites of Durango - The Rochester Hotel - Nobody's Inn - Antlers on the Creek Bed and Breakfast ... and there are more if you look around.
House Or Rental
Ben and I are friends with the hosts of this Airbnb, and they are incredible people. The spaces are awesome - they have two small Airbnbs in their barn and we've stayed in both of them. Their place is also only 15 minutes down the road from our house, where the wedding will be taking place. *If you'd like to stay in one of their accommodations, please let us know your dates and Bethany (the host) will block off the days for your stay so others can't book during that time.
Travel Note
There are a number of other hotels, Airbnbs, Vrbos and other accommodation options in the area. Just keep in mind, the ceremony will take place at our house in Hesperus about 35 minutes **west** of Downtown Durango. Some other bigger chain hotel accommodations we would recommend are listed below. - Homewood Suites by Hilton Durango - SpringHill Suites Durango - Fairfield Inn and Suites Durango ... and there are others if you search online.
