We're getting married!

As many other millennial love stories start out, Ben and Elena met on Tinder! As God as her witness, the very first profile Elena saw was Ben's. What caught her attention the most? Ben had a picture with his momma on one of the pictures. She thought, "Handsome and loves his momma? YES". When Ben saw Elena's profile, he immediately swiped right! As soon as he saw Elena had swiped right as well, he messaged her right away!

Ben and Elena talked for about 2 months before finally meeting in person. This was because they met during the pandemic and had to wait on what seemed like FOREVER. Ben offered to drive to Mesquite, TX all the way from Fort Worth to finally meet Elena at BJ's Brewhouse. Initially, Ben was more nervous than Elena but by the time they sat at the table, it was the other way around. If you know Ben, you know he has quite an appetite. Elena was so nervous she could barely eat any of her mozzarella sticks. However, Ben got the messiest burger on the menu and ate all of it before Elena could finish her first mozzarella stick. Nonetheless, it was a great first date and both knew they wanted a second date! Before the two left, Ben asked Elena for "a kiss for the road". Nice one, Ben.

Ben had asked Elena to get dressed nicely for a birthday dinner at night. As they were driving to "dinner" Ben told Elena they were going to make a quick pit stop. Ben drove Elena to a spot beside the Trinity River in downtown Fort Worth that holds many sweet memories for them. It was the spot they would spend hours talking and getting to know each other during their first dates. They also loved seeing the Fort Worth skyline from this very spot. It didn't take long for Elena to see the silhouettes of some very familiar people. Ben then got down on one knee and proposed to Elena surrounded by both of their families. <3
