We first met at the very end of our freshman year of high school through mutual friends, hanging out as part of the same group. Once sophomore year hit, we started sitting together at lunch, talking more, laughing more, and getting to know each other beyond the surface. Before long, Ben asked me out on a date set for December 2nd… a date that would later become our anniversary. It didn’t take long to realize that we have something really special. It became clear that this wasn’t just a high school relationship, it was our forever. Ben proposed during a family trip to Tennessee at the breathtaking Rock City. As we wandered through the cliffs and views overlooking rolling hills and trees, we eventually reached a scenic balcony facing Lover’s Leap and its beautiful waterfall. Surrounded by nature and the calming sound of rushing water, Ben got down on one knee. I’ve never said “yes” faster in my life. From high school lunches to forever, we can’t wait to start this next chapter together.
