Our story began on July 14, 2012. It began in a place neither of us expected—a week-long aviation summer camp at Woodale High School in 8th grade. In a room full of strangers, somehow, we found each other. We noticed each other from across the crowded room. There were a few glances until it became impossible to ignore. Before long, we found ourselves face to face, and just like that, something clicked. From that moment on, we were inseparable. For that one week, we spent hours side by side, sometimes not even saying a word—just enjoying being near each other. We didn’t need conversation… being together was enough. In fact, we were so connected, they had to separate us a few times... And even back then, there was something about it that felt bigger than just a connection at summer camp. A promise was made—one that, at the time, may have seemed bold, but never faded. Life eventually took us in different directions, but somehow, what we shared stayed with us. And 13 years later, God allowed us to found our way back to each other…with that same pull, that same undeniable connection. Now, when we look at each other, we still see those same two kids from aviation camp—the ones who felt something special without even needing words to express it. Only now, that connection has grown into something deeper, stronger, and more meaningful than we could have ever imagined. What started as a simple moment between two kids has turned into something lasting… something real… something forever. And now, that promise made all those years ago is finally coming true.
