Our story began in the most unexpected way—at work. We first met at Pappadeaux, simply as two people going about our days, never realizing that the person we crossed paths with would one day mean so much more. At the time, it was just another season of life, and neither of us could have imagined what God had in store. After some time, I moved on and left Pappadeaux, and life carried on as usual. But as it turns out, our story wasn’t finished yet—it was only just beginning. About a year later, everything changed in a single moment. I was back at Pappadeaux with a friend when he saw me again. This time, something felt different. He took a chance, walked up, and asked for my number—something so simple, yet it would end up changing everything. Not long after, we went on our first date, and from that moment on, things just fell into place so naturally. What started as a reconnection quickly grew into something deeper, something steady, and something full of love. We found in each other not just a partner, but a best friend—someone to laugh with, lean on, and walk through life with. Looking back, it’s incredible to see how something so ordinary turned into something so meaningful. What once felt like a random meeting became the start of our forever. And now, here we are—getting ready to begin the next chapter of our lives together, hand in hand. We truly believe our story is a reminder that the best things often come when you least expect them

Our dress code is cocktail attire—think your Sunday best. Ladies, elegant dresses or dressy separates are perfect. Gentlemen, a suit, dress slacks with a button-down, and a blazer works beautifully. Dress to feel polished, festive, and comfortable while celebrating with us!

For those using our registry, please be sure to mark your gift as “purchased” once selected so we can keep everything organized. Yes, our reception will be held on grass. We recommend wearing comfortable, outdoor-friendly shoes.

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate you making arrangements and hope you enjoy a night out with us!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras away during our ceremony. We’ve hired a professional photographer and would love for you to be fully present with us in the moment. There will be plenty of time to take photos at the reception!
