We met while working at the FOCUS headquarters in Golden, CO and quickly became good friends. When Ben expressed interest in searching for a new job, Natalie, with no ulterior motives, offered to help him with his resume. Ben, being somewhat of a procrastinator, didn't take her up on the offer for a while. Several months later, Ben started applying for jobs, his least favorite thing to do. It took a while, but eventually was offered a new position. And even though Natalie had helped him with his resume over 8 months ago, Ben felt that he should call her and thank her for her help, also with no ulterior motives. Ben sent Natalie a thank you text and she responded a short 3 months later. On Ben's last day of FOCUS, Ben and Natalie got lunch to celebrate his last day and the start of his new job and ended up spending over three hours together! A month later, Ben and Natalie got together again but "just as friends getting breakfast." After spending 12 hours together, the rest is history.
