Their love story began in 2017 at the National Conference of Burmese-American Catholics in Rock Island, Illinois. She was singing an intentional prayer in their dialect when he first saw her on stage—something in that moment captured his heart. After the conference, he found a way to connect with her through mutual friends and added her on social media. They spent a year building a friendship, getting to know each other deeply. On July 20, 2018, they took a leap of faith and began their relationship. Long distance wasn’t easy—there were moments when they thought about walking away. But every time, God led them back to each other. Nearly seven years later, through every high and low, they grew stronger together. In January 2025, they felt a gentle nudge in their hearts and made the spontaneous but spirit-filled decision to say yes to forever. This is more than a love story—it’s a story of faith, perseverance, and God’s perfect timing.
