Question

Is there anything unique I should know about your wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will be having two religious ceremonies at two different locations on the same day prior to the reception. The church ceremony will take place at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church at 2:15 pm. Cocktail hour will be at 5pm BEFORE the Jewish ceremony at 6pm at Hudson House followed by dinner and dancing from 7-11pm.

How far are the church, guest hotel and venue from each other?

From Residence Inn to St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church- 2.3 miles (14 minutes) From Residence Inn to Hudson House- 4 miles (13 minutes) From St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church to Hudson House- 6 miles (18 minutes)

Question

Will there be transportation provided for guests from the hotel?

Answer

Yes! There will be a coach bus leaving from Residence Inn bringing guests to Hudson House. The bus will also bring back guests to the hotel at the end of the night. Transportation will NOT be provided from the hotel to the church ceremony or from the church ceremony to Hudson House. Ubers and Lyfts are very accessible in this area!

Where can I go while waiting in between the church ceremony and Jewish ceremony/reception?

Answer

You can visit any of our favorite places in Jersey City (see our favorite places tab)! Those places are all very close to our reception venue (around 15 min away by car). From there, you can drive to the venue OR catch a ride on one of the shuttle buses leaving the Residence Inn to go to Hudson House. Another option is to drive to Hudson House early (will be open to our guests starting at 3pm) to take advantage of the beautiful views on the multi-level wrap around decks of the venue! You can take pictures while enjoying a cocktail from the venue's first floor bar/restaurant Felina Steakhouse; this will be open prior to cocktail hour.

What time will the coach bus be leaving the hotel to go to Hudson House?

Answer

The bus will make its first trip to Hudson House starting at 4pm. The bus will be picking up guests over the course of 1 hour from 4-5pm. This time frame is to ensure guests get to Hudson House on time for the start of cocktail hour/Jewish ceremony. There are no buses to the church ceremony or from the church ceremony to venue.

Is there parking available at your wedding venue?

Answer

For the church ceremony at St. Ann's in Hoboken; there is a small parking lot and street parking available. For the Jewish ceremony/reception at Hudson House; there is valet parking available and street parking.

Will your wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

The church ceremony will be inside. The Jewish ceremony (weather permitting) will be outside (on grass) at Hudson House. The cocktail/reception will be inside.

How long will each ceremony be?

Answer

The church ceremony will be about 25 minutes and the Jewish ceremony will be around 20-25 minutes.
