We're Married!

As much as we would have loved to celebrate with you, in the interest of everyone's safety, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our original wedding celebration. We, however, wanted to share some exciting news with everyone: we’re married! Our longtime friend, Willie, married us in the backyard in Margate where we have been living during the pandemic. Butter was our witness and flower girl. A small group of our family virtually joined from 3 different countries. It was everything we could ask for; nothing fancy but full of love. As you all know, our celebration and many other things in all of our lives have been put on hold as we all live through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. These are truly unprecedented times and none of us know what will happen in the upcoming weeks and months. Our priorities at this time are to focus on the health of ourselves, our families, our friends, our community, and all people around the world. We encourage everyone to do their best to “flatten the curve” and slow down the spread of COVID -19 through social distancing. We also thank our friends and family who are on the front line, helping keep our world alive. We hope that positive developments will occur in the near future and we recognize that we have to do our part and cancel our celebration gathering.
