We appreciate you making the trip to the Isle of Man to celebrate with us! We recommend you arrive Thursday if you can, so you have a chance to relax and explore the beauty of the island. We will be hosting a welcome party with dinner and drinks Friday evening 6/27. The ceremony and reception will be Saturday afternoon 6/28. Bring your dancing shoes!
If you're traveling from the states, you will need a connection. The connections stop at a few cities in the UK, Scotland, and Ireland (Glasgow, London, Manchester, Dublin– fantastic cities to visit if you have the time before or after the wedding!). There are no Ubers on the Isle, but there are taxis. Please book your taxis to and from the airport ahead of time: https://isleofmanairporttaxis.com/
We will coordinate with each guest. Accommodations range from Amisfield to a few beautiful BnBs close by.
For our wedding on Saturday, the dress code is formal 'garden party'. Have fun with colors, patterns, and frills! Here is a link to Pinterest for some inspiration: https://www.pinterest.com/sophn120/wedding-inspo/
We will coordinate taxi services with each guest. Please make sure you have Whatsapp or cell service so you can communicate with your driver. We will be emailing a map with directions to guests soon. While taxi services will know where the venue is, it may be hard to find if you are traveling there yourself. Sat Nav (aka Google Maps/Apple Maps) has a hard time finding the venue.
Yes, you will need a passport to enter into the Isle of Man. To be safe, please check your passports ASAP to ensure that they will not expire close to our wedding date.
Renting a car is not necessary, unless you would like to do extra exploring around the island. Manual cars are the go-to in Europe, so if you are not comfortable driving a manual, please opt for an automatic car.
