We're Getting Married!

Our first date was at the water lantern festival in 2019. We decorated lanterns on the Charles River Esplanade and then watched them drift into the water at sunset. Afterwards we went for dinner at Cheers, a first taste of Shreya's quirky, why-not attitude.

Having already agreed to marry, introduced our families and performed an exhaustive search for the right engagement ring, all that was left was a picture perfect proposal. Ben chose a day in March that was supposed to be unseasonably warm to take a stroll along the esplanade to the spot where we first met. Unfortunately, it was also an evening with a wind advisory warning and the carefully constructed candle-lit scene that our friends had prepared was constantly on the verge of being blown away. It was far from picture perfect, but all the more memorable.
