Question
How do I get to the venue and is there parking?
Answer
All events are held at Enchantment Resort. Parking is only available to those staying at Enchantment but we will have a shuttle to pick up and drop off guests from the Courtyard and Yavapai College Sedona Center for both the Welcome Dinner on Friday and the Wedding events on Saturday. Please see the Travel page of this site for pickup/drop-off times, locations, and other information.
Question
Do we need a rental car? Does Sedona have Uber or Lyft?
Answer
Sedona is a ~2 hour drive from Phoenix Airport so a rental car or carpool with friends is our recommended transportation option. Uber/Lyft are not reliable and basically non-existent in Sedona and you will most likely want a car to explore all the magic of Sedona during your stay. However, if you are not staying at Enchantment, we will provide shuttle service to and from the welcome party and ceremony/reception. See the Travel page of this site for details.

Where should I stay if I am not booking at Enchantment?
Answer
If you want to explore accommodations outside Enchantment, there are many wonderful hotels and vacation rental options. However, we highly recommend staying at the Courtyard Marriott, as we will provide shuttle service from Courtyard to both the welcome event and reception/ceremony. Enchantment does not have parking available to guests not staying at the resort and there are NO Uber/Lyft drivers in Sedona. Both events are open bar and we want everyone to enjoy themselves without navigating parking/transportation. We have also booked a room block with discounted room rates for anyone using our code at the link below or on our travel page. What does "Festive Formal Mean?"
Answer
Festive formal means formal American Attire but with bright, festive colors! Think a fun colored suit for men or a vibrant patterned cocktail dress or floor length dress for women.

I want to wear an Indian outfit for the Welcome Party - where can I find one?
Answer

What details should I keep in mind while choosing my outfits?
Answer
Weather: Sedona weather in May can be between 50-80 degrees. The welcome party on Friday evening will be outside. We don't imagine it to get very cool and we will have heaters outside. However, if you do get on the chilly side, you might opt in bringing a shawl or a light sweater. Footwear: The ceremony and cocktail hour will be on grass, so we recommend avoiding stilettos for your comfort.

Do you have a wedding registry, or can I bring a gift to the wedding?
Answer
We do not have a registry and we please ask for no gifts. Your presence, love, and support is the greatest gift we could ask for! Just join us for the celebration!

Are children allowed and are you providing child care?
Answer
Yes and yes! There won't be any child care for the welcome party, but we will have child care for the ceremony and reception in a nearby building.
