Paso Market Walk

If you're staying in the central coast area for a few days before or after the wedding, taking a tour of the Hearst Castle is a fun idea for a day trip.  Note - the castle is only accessible via tour, so you must book tickets.

Hearst Castle

A little farther drive out from the freeway (maybe 15-20 min), but well worth it. Beautiful spot and LOTS of great wine and reasonable prices. They make Rhone wines.

Tablas Creek Vineyard

Very convenient to get to, very casual. Usually food trucks are parked in the parking lot.  Syrah and Zins with a few Rhone grapes. Not a large selection, but good place to drop in.

J Dusi Wines- Winery and Tasting Room

Very pretty, convenient. Primarily zinfandel. A bit more expensive wines. Note - the tasting room seems to be open only Th-Sun.
