Ben and Melissa met in January of 2016 at Ball State in biology lab. They sat at the same table and Ben would text Melissa with questions about the lab report or an assignment. It wasn't long before the two were texting about phone games and competing to see who could win. This progressed into spending time together watching movies and studying for exams. It only took a few months to really hit it off!

Ben took Melissa to Vera Mae's Bistro in downtown Muncie where they shared a beautiful and very fancy dinner. They enjoyed soup, salad, fish, chicken, Merlot, and creme brulee. When Melissa and Ben left the restaurant and got to the car Ben dropped to one knee and asked Melissa to marry him under the beautiful moonlight.

Melissa and Ben will be getting married at Epworth United Methodist Church. Both their parents got married at Epworth and have had long, happy, and healthy marriages. Melissa and Ben can't wait to see you all and celebrate their love!
