Ben and Megan first met while working at Target. Megan was in her junior year at UW- Whitewater and Ben was in his senior year at UW- Parkside, and both were working part time at Target when they first met in the electronic section. While their story isn’t much of a “meet cute”, Target will always be a special place for them.

While Jimmy John’s between lunch breaks and half price apps at Applebee’s after a shift at Target was always fun, their first official date was at Carnevor in Milwaukee. This was also the spot they shared a romantic dinner at after getting engaged, 5 years later

Ben and Megan took their first trip together in 2018 to Door County, WI. They hiked Cave Point, swam in Lake Michigan, and enjoyed coffee together in Sister Bay. This little getaway became a favorite place for the pair, and they have returned many times since.

Ben and Megan wouldn’t let a pandemic throw a wrench in their plans to build a future together. In 2020 they found a place to call home.

In 2022 Ben and Megan took a trip to New York City. This was the first trip they planned completely on their own and they were worried they were in over their heads. Just the two of them in the big city was intimidating, but Ben and Megan had a plan to see all the sights - walking over 30,000 thousand steps in one day!

In 2023 Ben and Megan saw their favorite artist, Post Malone, in concert at Alpine Valley. They danced and sang to their favorite songs not having a care in the world
