FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by November 30th, 2025 using the QR code on the formal invitation, or by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu. If we do not hear from you, we will assume you are not able to make it. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Where will the celebrations take place?

Answer

Our celebrations will take place in Fort Myers, FL. The ceremony will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. There will be a reception in the evening at The Alderman House.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dress up for our big day! We are requesting semi-formal attire. Please keep in mind that the reception will be held outdoors.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests who were formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, the invite will be addressed to them and they will appear with your name when you RSVP. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love all your little ones, however we are not able to accommodate all children. If your invite is addressed “(Your Name) and Family” your children are included in the RSVP. You will also see their name under yours when you RSVP on our website. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Is your wedding kid-friendly?

Answer

Our wedding will warmly welcome children, though we kindly request that parents or guardians supervise their little ones throughout the ceremony and reception. While we won't offer a dedicated children's menu, our buffet will provide options for them to pick and choose. Please note that we won't have specific childcare services or entertainment, so we recommend bringing children only if you feel they will be comfortable and well-managed. Kids are absolutely welcome to join the celebration and dance floor with us!

Question

What if only some of the guests in my party can attend?

Answer

We understand that not everyone will be able to make it. If someone in your party is unable to attend please select no next to their name when you RSVP. This will help us get an accurate guest count for our venue.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

If you are joining us for the ceremony, we kindly ask that you arrive by 12:30 pm to give time to park and be seated before the ceremony begins at 1 pm. We invite all of our guests to join us at cocktail hour at our reception venue which will begin at 4:30 pm.

Question

What do we do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Due to our ceremony being a Nuptial Mass, it will begin at 1 in the afternoon and end around 2. This leaves a gap between our wedding reception that begins at 4:30 pm with cocktail hour. Guests are welcome to enjoy Downtown Fort Myers or just relax at your hotel or AirBnb during this time. If you are looking for any suggestions we will include our favorite places to go under the “To Do” tab.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be plenty of parking at St. Francis Xavier Church where the ceremony will take place. There will also be complimentary valet parking at The Alderman House for the reception. We just ask that if you leave your car overnight to please retrieve it from the venue by 9 am on March 1st.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

If you are in need of travel accommodations, you can go to our "Travel" tab on our website to find our suggested hotels nearby and a link for discounted rates. All of these hotels are within a 2 mile radius of both our ceremony and reception venue. You can also look for AirBnb's or VRBO's near the Downtown Fort Myers area.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items that would help us with our future newlywed home and honeymoon. Our wedding registry can be found in the "Registry" tab on our website.
