In the summer of 2016, a shared loved of music and an involvement in marching band brought two high school freshmen together. The month of September quickly became very special to them as September 24th, the night of their first homecoming, is when Ben asked Lily to be his girlfriend. Over the next 8 years, they experienced many highs, such as graduating high school and college by each others' sides, and many lows, like long distance and various health concerns. No matter what life threw in their path, their love continued to blossom into something that is truly once in a lifetime. It became more apparent every day, not only to them but to those around them as well, that this relationship would last forever. On December 13th, 2023, they became engaged and started to build the foundation for the rest of their lives together. From moving into their first apartment to adopting their two beloved cats Mabel and Dipper, they have been consistently reminded of why they chose each other all of those years ago. Fast forward to the present, Ben and Lily are beyond excited to publicly solidify their relationship in front of their loved ones and continue their life journey together as husband and wife. They have known for so long that their love is infinite, so this next step has truly been a long time coming.
