A few tips and tricks we learned on our last visit
- Mosquitos are hit and miss...definitely recommend packing bug spray
- There will be bugs! Big bugs. We would place a towel along the bottom of our door to limit the "visitors".
- Beach vendors can be persistent. They even accept venmo and cash app. A lot of the same items can be purchased in the gift shop. Be sure to bargain well! Or claim you have no money OR phone!
- OTC medications are available in the gift shop, but can be extremely expensive! Be sure the pack anything you MAY need.
- Be sure to bring a paper copy of your reservations, shuttle information, and Dominican e-ticket. Wifi service at Punta Cana airport is/was poor. Thankfully we had printed proof of our pre-arraigned shuttle, so Amstar was able to assist up easily.
- Take pictures and/or bring photocopies of your passports...in case of emergency
