Travel
International Guests:
There are 3 airports that we would suggest flying into. Manchester (MAN), London Heathrow (LHR) or London Gatwick (LGW).
Trains:
If you're landing at Gatwick or Heathrow, you will want to make your way to King's Cross train station. If you don't want to deal with public transport or the London Underground we would suggest grabbing a taxi directly to King's Cross. From there you can take a direct train to York, which takes around 2 hrs.
If you are flying into Manchester you can get to York via a 2hr train directly from the airport.
Driving:
For those that are traveling in groups from the US you might want to group together and look into getting a car rental from your chosen airport. From the London airports it will be a 4-5hr drive but from Manchester you're looking at 2hrs.
If you don't want to get a train or drive...I'm sure there are car services that you could arrange to take you door to door.
