First Friday Art Walk
Friday Sept. 1, 5:30-9:00pm | We have a fantastic arts district located in the historic Lincoln Alma neighborhood. Every first Friday of the month, art galleries open their doors to visitors. There are also food trucks and music. It's a lot of fun to go and just walk around for a bit.
History Colorado Center
The History Colorado Center is a truly spectacular museum that tells stories from Colorado's history. Every exhibit I've been to has been profound and impactful, and even their longstanding exhibits are worth multiple visits.
Denver Art Museum
The Denver Art Museum is just one of about ten museums in a half-mile radius. Not only is the art inside here worth a visit, I highly recommend going to admire the building itself. Denver is home to the only Gio Ponti building in North America with our old castle-looking building that is part of the Art Museum campus.
Denver Botanic Gardens
The Botanic Gardens are almost indescribable. Not only are they a remarkable way to slow down and enjoy nature, but the land that the gardens are constructed on has a haunted past.
Churchill Bar
We absolutely love this cigar bar. It's in the lobby of the Historic Brown Palace hotel, and it truly feels like stepping back into another era.
Elitch Gardens Theme Park
This is a full amusement park in the heart of downtown Denver. The word is they won't be in this location for much longer, so give them a visit while it's there!
