Our story began back in early 2017 with a meet-up in a quiet coffee shop on a cold January evening. While a live acoustic guitar played across the room, we first met, and our lives changed. Soon, we started spending more and more time together, exploring different hobbies, going on walks, and trying new things in the kitchen. Our love grew and our stories became intertwined. We became each other's support, even when our work and education took us on long-distance relationships across the province. Despite the distance, we found a home in each other whenever we could spend time together. We love traveling together, and our most momentous trip occurred last summer during a road trip through Nevada and California. Our journey led us to Yosemite National Park, where Ben insisted on hiking to the top of a waterfall along one of the trails. After a gruelling 5-hour hike, we reached the zenith and found ourselves overwhelmed by the most breathtaking view either of us had ever seen. In that magical moment, Ben knelt down on one knee, and with Yosemite's beauty as our witness, Kelsey said yes. And now, as we prepare to celebrate the culmination of that unforgettable proposal, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for joining us in a celebration of our love and for being a part of our story, both so far and the chapters yet to be written.
