FAQs

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP right on this website! Go to the "RSVP" page of our website to submit whether you can or cannot make it, along with any dietary restrictions, allergies, and other details.

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

April 25th, 2026.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only event! Instead, we encourage you to use and enjoy this evening as a date night. Thank you in advance for leaving the kids at home for our event.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to space constraints, only those listed on your invitation are invited. If you received a plus one, it will be explicitly noted on your invite.

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Please arrive to the venue République on Saturday May 23rd, 2026 by 5:00pm PST at the latest. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm PST.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional, so feel free to also dress in cocktail or semi-formal attire (whatever you are going to be the most comfortable in!). For the men — suits or tuxes. For the women — cocktail or floor-length dresses; the bridesmaids will be dressed in black, so we recommend choosing a different color. For the vibe — old hollywood and vintage glamour, dark or neutral colors with a little bit of sparkle, “James Bond meets champagne tower”.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors and be held from 5:30-6pm, then we will move outside to the venue’s covered patio for cocktail hour at 6-7pm, then back inside again for the reception with a family-style dinner and live band performance.

Question

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know in advance if you need a wheelchair or special accommodations, and we will make proper arrangements with the venue.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not take photos during the ceremony, and leave this to the professionals! We also ask that you put your cellphones on silent and keep them away for the ceremony. Feel free to take photos before and after the ceremony, and for the cocktail hour and reception!

Question

Are we allowed to post photos on social media?

Answer

Of course! Feel free to post any and all photos you'd like to your socials.

Question

What’s for dinner?

Answer

Dinner will be a multi-course pre-fixe menu served family-style with appetizers, salads, pastas, main entrees, and sides. After dinner, there will be a dessert bar with an assortment of desserts chosen by the venue’s award-winning pastry team.

Question

Will there be vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options?

Answer

Of course! Just give us the head’s up if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP and the venue will accommodate you.

Question

Is the menu posted anywhere?

Answer

Not yet, but we will be sure to post it to our website once the menu is finalized closer to the wedding date!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar after the ceremony with an assortment of cocktails, wines, and beers.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

DUH! Absolutely. We’ll have a live band performing for the reception. Come ready to dance, do the Hora, and bring the house down.

Question

What’s the best airport to fly into?

Answer

You’ve got options! The best airports to fly into are Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR). Burbank is smaller and often easier to navigate. LAX has more flight options.

Question

If I'm coming in from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

We will be staying at the Kimpton La Peer Hotel in West Hollywood. It about a 15-20 minute drive from the wedding venue and in a very nice, walkable part of the city. Please see the travel page of our website for more info about our room block. There are also a lot of other hotels and Airbnbs in the area that are affordable and beautiful!

Question

If I'm driving to the venue, where should I park?

Answer

There will be complimentary valet available at the venue. There is a small parking lot that you can pull into that is directly next to the venue where you can check your car at the valet.

Question

Will rideshares/taxis be easy to get from the venue?

Answer

Yes, rideshares like Uber and Lyft are super accessible and easy-to-call from the venue!

Question

What’s the weather usually like this time of year?

Answer

Expect warm, sunny days and mild, cool evenings — highs in the upper 70s to low 80s, lows in the 60s. However, please note that most of the wedding festivities will take place indoors, so we’ll make sure the temperature is comfortable!

Question

Is there a back-up plan in case of rain or bad weather?

Answer

Most of the wedding will be indoors, so no need for a back-up plan! On the off-chance that there is rain, we will move the cocktail hour indoors.

Question

Are there any after-party plans?

Answer

Yes! After the reception ends at 10pm, we are planning to go to another bar (TBD) for a nightcap or two. Stay tuned for more details to come.

Question

Are we registered? And if so, where can you find our registry?

Answer

Many of you are already going the distance (literally!) to celebrate with us, and that means everything. Your presence is by far the best gift we could ask for, but if you'd still like to contribute to our registry or honeymoon fund, you can find this on the "Registry" page of our website.
