What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal or festive. We encourage folks to wear brighter colors and / or floral patterns, but whatever you are comfortable in is great!

Are children invited to the ceremony and reception on Saturday?

While we adore your children, we have decided to keep our wedding adults-only. We know childcare arrangements take planning and truly appreciate your understanding.

Are children invited to the welcome drinks on Friday?

Answer

Yes you are welcome to bring your kids to Southside from 7:30-9:30pm.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes, please check out the "Accommodations" page. If the Aloft Hotel block if full, please let Katie know and it will be expanded. However, please feel free to choose your own hotel or Airbnb if you prefer.

Will any part of the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

No - the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be inside The Elliot.

Nah, we'll stick with what we've got.

Can I take pictures and videos at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes please do! We will have a photographer and second shooter, but they can’t capture EVERY moment and we won’t have a videographer. Katie will make a shared Google album where you can upload your pictures and videos!
