Looking to break a sweat? We enjoy bike rides, walks and runs on the Katy Trail. Park at the Trailhead and take in the Mississippi River, stroll down Main Street St. Charles, pop in and out of all the cute shops and grab a coffee at the Bike Stop Cafe!
Plan a relaxing day at our favorite STL spa, ara, conveniently located inside Ameristar Casino. The spa amenities are top notch and the services are one-of-a-kind. Enjoy eucalyptus soaked towels, steam rooms, hot tubs, heated pool, hot teas/cocktails and so much more! Book a massage and/or facial, we promise you’ll be wishing you had more time to spend here.
Looking for some St. Louis BBQ? Make a stop at Salt + Smoke on Main Street. The outside patio is one of the best in town. Enjoy the Fall weather, a cold brew and tasty BBQ. Make sure to get an order, or two, of the sweet potato chips. They are our favorite!
There’s one word for this place, YUM! You have to pick up a special bakery treat here. Take one for the road or have it as a late night snack. Our favorites include: French Macarons, Almond Heart Cake and Coconut/Chocolate Macaroons.
Grant's Farm is a St. Louis gem, owned by the Anheuser Busch Family. This is a great place to visit in the Fall, as they go all out with pumpkins and decor. You will see rare animals, amazing architecture, the famous Clydesdale horses and have the opportunity to sample some of the best beers, brewed right here in the Lou! Make sure to check the Grant's Farm website for availability and tour times.
We love the food and wine list at Eleven Eleven Mississippi. This restaurant is one of a few restaurants in the owners collection. The romantic ambience makes it perfect for date night. If you're in the area, make sure to grab a "pre-dinner" cocktail at their sister restaurant, Vin de Set. The view from their patio is one of the best in STL. Great for a Fall sunset overlooking the Arch and downtown St. Louis.
You have got to stop in this Naughty & Nice Creamery while in St. Louis. New locations keep popping up ALL over the city and trust us, you won't be sorry. Make sure to indulge in one of the alcoholic flavors. Kasey's personal favorite is Maple Bourbon.
Kirkwood = the charm of St. Louis. Walk around and explore the shops, restaurants and darling homes. Some of Kasey’s favorite shops are located here including: Sammy Soap, Rusted Chandelier, Christopher’s and Blush Boutique. You will find the best and freshest bread at Great Harvest Bread Co. Don’t leave without trying the cinnamon chip bread. Grab a bite at the local favorite, Billy G’s, which boosts one of the best patios, with fire pits, perfect for a Fall day or evening. If you’re looking for something more romantic, try 19 North Wine Bar. You may even get to hear some live local musicians play.
A favorite and definitely our go to date night spot. Grab a seat at the bar and try one of the bartenders many rotating cocktails. The menu at O+O is constantly evolving and changing seasonally, weekly and even daily! The food is phenomenal from start to finish. Don’t leave without dessert. Reservations are hard to come by, so book early or try your luck at a bar seat. We promise you’ll want to go back for more. Ps…read the restaurants story. It will fill your soul with all kinds of love.
