The internet tells us that our dress code is “Dressy Causal”, which essentially translates to: as causal as we can keep it while avoiding jeans, shorts, and flip flops please. Question

Gasparilla

Answer

What is Gasparilla you may ask? Think Mardi Gras, but with pirates! Gasparilla the city of Tampa's annual invasion of pirates. On Saturday Jan 31st, downtown Tampa will be filled with parades, beads, and general debauchery. If you plan on staying until the weekend after the wedding, plan accordingly because it can be difficult to travel through downtown Tampa, and accommodations in that area book quickly. The children’s parade will take place on Jan 24th (Wedding day!) so parts of downtown Tampa will also be shutdown to accommodate that parade. https://gasparillapiratefest.com/
