Jordan and Ben met on the first day of a class at NYU. Jordan was immediately drawn to Ben & walked right up to him to ask if the seat next to him was taken. Both had to go through many hoops to get into this specific class and as the class progressed, they grew quite close and would often share lunches after class. Despite the clear chemistry, the timing wasn’t right, and after the class ended, they fell out of touch. A few years later, they still thought about one another often. Ben noticed online that Jordan was having a performance and felt that if he didn’t go, he wouldn't have the chance to see her again. He made the trek to Brooklyn from Jersey, shocked her by being there, and their romance rekindled. To this day, Ben maintains that he knew from the moment he looked up at the beautiful girl asking if she could sit next to him, that one day they would be married.
