Finally

HER: During a high school Bible Study at our mutual friend's house I remember looking up and catching Ben continually smiling at me. All I could think is, “who is this boy and why is he staring at me so much?” He began to pursue me and I was oblivious! Ben was just as charismatic then as he is now and I was drawn to him. Then finally one day, it just clicked "This guy likes me!" And from that point on it was nothing but falling for each other, and ultimately falling in love. HIM: This cute and silly girl with lovely short hair with pretty flowers in it caught my attention at our local youth group Bible Study. Her name was Jessie and I knew her as the girl with one of the prettiest singing voices ever. I knew I wanted to become friends with her, but I did not know that I would fall in love with her, but she made it all too easy.

We were taking a walk up at Presidio Park, and we reached the highest point overlooking a beautiful San Diego sunset. It was beginning to become very windy and cold, so Ben asked if we should get going. I said yes, and as we were about to leave, Ben stopped me. He got down on one knee, pulled out a Tiffany's box and proposed. After I obviously said yes and we embraced, I told him "I loved it when you proposed to me." Ben then asked, "Would you like for me to do it again?" I, of course, said yes. He got back down on his knee and asked for my hand in marriage once more. He graciously offered to propose a third time, but I said I would like to save it for later. We are so excited to celebrate this new season in our lives with you. See you soon!
