I have known Ashley since she was a teen! Our age difference has not got in the way of our friendship at all, she's more like a sister. I was very lucky to meet Janai. Jorge had been my friend for a long time and I wasn't sure about his new girlfriend when we first met. Now, so many years later, Janai is my family! She's secretly really sweet, but don't tell her I said that! There's literally nothing this chick can't do.

I love Luisa!! We met through Ashley & Andy years ago. Her family has become our family. My favorite moments are when we go to her house and celebrate any little thing. They are so welcoming and make me feel like I am home.

Judy and I both grew up in Downey, CA but never met when we were younger. It wasn't until I was in my mid-20s and we have stayed in daily contact ever since. I love that we can talk about nothing or everything with no judgement and I am so beyond happy that she was able to make the trip out here for the wedding!

Alexis is Janai's daughter and I had the pleasure of watching her grow into the beautiful woman she is now!!! Her teen years were a little tough for me (so not used to teen girls) but I love hanging out with her now. I can't wait until we can go to Old Town again for coffee and window shopping!!!

Jorge is the first friend I had when I moved to VA. We were both from different places with no family here so we decided to create our own traditions. 20 Thanksgivings together and we don't plan on breaking that streak. We are honored that he agreed to officiate our wedding!!

Big brother to the groom, and one hell of a role model as a father of two for Tre and Chipper. Chip recently got engaged to his girlfriend Jen and they both currently live in Alexandria, just blocks from our Grandparent's home. Throughout the years Chip has remained a pillar in the family; his strength a reassurance to all that know him. Always willing to lend a hand as a craftsman extraordinaire to friend and family alike, it is also his magnanimous nature of wanting to make the worlds of each person he encounters that helped in locking him as the obvious choice as the best man I know in this world. I love him with everything I have to give. I look up to him as a brother, a father, and a friend.
