What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 6:00pm sharp, so please arrive between 5:30-5:45pm. We’ll have a special greeter and cocktail to get you started!

What is the dress code?

Cocktail attire.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside. Cocktail hour and reception will be indoors, but the garden will still be open!

What will the weather be like?
Answer
There’s a chance it could be chilly, so we recommend checking the weather the day of and dressing accordingly.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?
Answer
The address for the aviary is 700 Arch St, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. A shuttle will be provided from the Holiday Inn Express & Suites North Shore. Please check the schedule page for more info!

Yes. Be sure to have your ID in case you look a little young to our bar staff!

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?
Answer
Yes, we have booked a block at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites North Shore. We recommend booking ASAP as there is a big concert at Acrisure Stadium the Saturday after the wedding. Check out the Travel page for more accommodations info!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Please no phones during the ceremony! We want to see all of your lovely faces. 🙂

We’ve sent out an electronic RSVP in advance of formal invitations (forgive us, this is our first time planning a wedding). Tip: If you’re having trouble finding the email, search “Greenvelope” in your inbox and spam folder.

Do you have a wedding registry?
Answer
Yes! If that’s your style, we have some gift ideas and a Honeymoon fund listed on the Registry page.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?
Answer
Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

The reception will end at 11pm.
