Most hotels in the zone offer walk-in testing options, or you can schedule a concierge service to come to you! There are several spots in the Tulum area to schedule a walk-in as well. https://www.costamed.com.mx/en/covid-19/schedule-your-appointment-covid-19-tests https://www.kay.tours/post/covid-testing-sites-in-tulum-cancun-and-playa-del-carmen https://driphydration.com/coverage-areas/mexico/tulum/at-home-covid-19-testing/ https://travelmexicosolo.com/is-tulum-open/ https://www.azova.com/mexico/concierge.html?primary_resource_url_id=38706 https://mx.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information-for-u-s-citizens-in-mexico/
We are working with a planner to make sure everyone is tested in coordinance with government guidelines. For some that may be through the resort, for most we will all meet at one location. More details to come!
There is now an $11 fee for a tourism tax when you get to Cancun. You can pay by either cash or credit card and they ask you in the airport.
Firstly, thank you all so much for making the trip out to Tulum! Please don't think of this as a wedding but rather a reunion or barbecue-style event, as classy or as casual as you feel comfortable. While we are providing an open bar, bringing a bottle or a case of beer would be most appreciated! To be frank, I don't know how ya'll party so if you're worried about libations running out don't come empty handed. Love you. Also, I understand people will be traveling with guests who are not invited to the wedding. While we don’t have the space at the ceremony location they are more than welcome to come and party with us later. Late night snacks to be provided.
Here is the company for our transportation needs https://www.cancunexecutiveviptransportations.com/mini-bus-25-seats-for-private-transportation/
Short answer: no. It is polite to greet and say thank you in Spanish out of respect to the people. Personally, I would greet and be greeted in Spanish but they switched to English in response and I’m sure to save time :). The locals of the Riviera Maya are very familiar with English-speaking tourists.
Not at all! A lot of the hotels in the hotel zone offer day passes to enjoy the beach and drinks. This is the time you definitely need cash and expect to bring about 300-500 pesos. Any of the hotels listed in our travel section have amazing beach clubs that are accessible to non-guests.
Absolutely! There is a pool at the reception for them to enjoy as well as activities. And, they will be pumped full of sugar for you to enjoy in your quiet hours later.
It wouldn't hurt to have cash on hand for coffee, gifts, tipping, etc. In the past, personally have run into no complications using a card everywhere and most places have "cash only" signs in the window to let you know before entering. But please, tip your servers and bartenders generously. They work harder than most realize.
Yes. Duh. We know a lot of you will be traveling with family or friends that maybe we haven’t met. You needed this trip, ya hear? Just let us know if they’re coming, the more the merrier!
No. This is your vacation, too. If you just want to pop by the reception and sit on a beach the rest of your time in Mexico it would not hurt anyone's feelings.
