FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1st, 2026. If we do not receive an RSVP from you by this date, you will be marked as "not attending", and we will not have a plate or seat for you.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to seating and wanting to keep our day intimate, we are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. We hope you understand that we cannot accommodate extra guests.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love kids and they are absolutely welcome. They will be listed on the invites and on our website in order to RSVP for them. But if you would like to leave your kids at home for a kid free date night, that is great too! If we missed your children on our RSVP list, please let us know so we can account for them for seating and food.

Question

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 3pm. To ensure everyone is seated and we can start the ceremony on time, we recommend starting to arrive at 2:30pm to allow time for parking and to be seated by 2:45pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outside with the reception to follow inside the barn. Standard wedding attire is fine. For those who like to know, our wedding colors are sage green, navy blue, terracotta, and ivory. The wedding party will be in navy blue tuxes and sage green dresses.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Please follow the signs for parking. There are a couple handicap parking spots up close to the barn that will be reserved for specific people. Cars can stay overnight for those who catch a ride home, but need to be picked up sometime the next morning.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation, but you are welcome to leave your car overnight to catch a ride back to the hotels from those who do not plan to drink.

Question

What will be for dinner?

Answer

Famous Daves will be catering buffet style. There will be roasted chicken, chopped pork, rolls, cornbread muffins, mac and cheese, red potatoes, salad, and lemonade provided.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

There will be a staffed CASH bar at the venue. We will not be providing an open bar, so please be prepared and bring cash if you wish to drink.
