Please RSVP by February 1, 2023 here on this website. Thank you! While we would love to have ALL of you at our wedding, we understand that some of you will be unable to join us in Barbados. You will be with us in spirit!
Yes, you will need a passport that is valid for at least 6 months from your travel date. Passports take 8-11 weeks to process so be sure to apply or renew by December 2022 to ensure you get it on time. Check out https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html
For obvious reasons, everyone must take a Covid test prior to the wedding. Take a rapid test 24-48 hours prior to traveling or a PCR test 24-72 hours before traveling (keep results available to show at the BGI airport) and we ask that you bring a test to take before the rehearsal dinner. If you feel symptoms prior to traveling, please stay home and refer to Sandals' vacation assurance.
The vaccination requirements change according to the Barbados government based on the current covid climate. Here is the website to check for updates https://www.visitbarbados.org/covid-19-travel-guidelines-2022. Please note that while vaccinations are no longer required, there is an isolation period and the vaccine requirement can go into effect again at any point. We strongly recommend that all guests are vaccinated to avoid missing the wedding due to covid protocols. This means you will need to have your full vaccination no later than April 12, 2023. Please see https://www.sandals.com/vacation-assurance/ for updates on Sandals covid protocol and to view FAQs. We would love for everyone to come vaccinated so we can minimize the potential dangers of covid for all our guests during this special time.
The dress code is Beach Casual: comfortable fabrics such as linen, gauze or cotton and open-toed shoes. Beach casual is casual clothes with a light, relaxed feel such as flowing skirts, linen shorts and pants, maxi and sun dresses. Dress for 80 degree weather!
We recommend you arrive 15 minutes early so you can get settled before the ceremony begins. As we get closer to the date, we'll post the resort map with the marked location for the ceremony.
Absolutely! There will be full menus available for the lunches and dinners and you will be able to let the staff know of any allergies so they can accommodate your needs. There is a centrally located Culinary Concierge Desk available and ready to assist with any special dietary requirements like food allergies.
We will have a photographer to capture the ceremony, While we encourage people to take photos during the reception to share later, please refrain from photos during the ceremony and posting on social media- we want to keep our wedding intimate. We'll include a place where everyone can share photos they've taken.
Our ceremony will be on the beach on the resort right near where the rooms are- everything is in easy walking distance
